Display formatted logs for Flux components
Synopsis
The logs command displays formatted logs from various Flux components.
flux logs [flags]
Examples
# Print the reconciliation logs of all Flux custom resources in your cluster
flux logs --all-namespaces
# Print all logs of all Flux custom resources newer than 2 minutes
flux logs --all-namespaces --since=2m
# Stream logs for a particular log level
flux logs --follow --level=error --all-namespaces
# Filter logs by kind, name and namespace
flux logs --kind=Kustomization --name=podinfo --namespace=default
# Print logs when Flux is installed in a different namespace than flux-system
flux logs --flux-namespace=my-namespace
Options
-A, --all-namespaces displays logs for objects across all namespaces
--flux-namespace string the namespace where the Flux components are running (default "flux-system")
-f, --follow specifies if the logs should be streamed
-h, --help help for logs
--kind string displays errors of a particular toolkit kind e.g GitRepository
--level logLevel log level, available options are: (debug, info, error)
--name string specifies the name of the object logs to be displayed
--since duration Only return logs newer than a relative duration like 5s, 2m, or 3h. Defaults to all logs. Only one of since-time / since may be used.
--since-time string Only return logs after a specific date (RFC3339). Defaults to all logs. Only one of since-time / since may be used.
--tail int lines of recent log file to display (default -1)
Options inherited from parent commands
--as string Username to impersonate for the operation. User could be a regular user or a service account in a namespace.
--as-group stringArray Group to impersonate for the operation, this flag can be repeated to specify multiple groups.
--as-uid string UID to impersonate for the operation.
--cache-dir string Default cache directory (default "/opt/buildhome/.kube/cache")
--certificate-authority string Path to a cert file for the certificate authority
--client-certificate string Path to a client certificate file for TLS
--client-key string Path to a client key file for TLS
--cluster string The name of the kubeconfig cluster to use
--context string The name of the kubeconfig context to use
--insecure-skip-tls-verify If true, the server's certificate will not be checked for validity. This will make your HTTPS connections insecure
--kube-api-burst int The maximum burst queries-per-second of requests sent to the Kubernetes API. (default 100)
--kube-api-qps float32 The maximum queries-per-second of requests sent to the Kubernetes API. (default 50)
--kubeconfig string Path to the kubeconfig file to use for CLI requests.
-n, --namespace string If present, the namespace scope for this CLI request (default "flux-system")
--server string The address and port of the Kubernetes API server
--timeout duration timeout for this operation (default 5m0s)
--tls-server-name string Server name to use for server certificate validation. If it is not provided, the hostname used to contact the server is used
--token string Bearer token for authentication to the API server
--user string The name of the kubeconfig user to use
--verbose print generated objects
